My name is on the licence and the byline, but a home is built by a team. These are the people at CKS Projects, the roles they hold, and what that means for an owner during a build.

Who is on site during a CKS Projects build?
On site, the carpentry team is led by Matt Fairweather as Carpenter Foreman, with Tyreece George as Leading Carpenter and Josh Mclean as Carpenter Apprentice. I hold the Qualified Supervisor Certificate and am the company’s Nominated Supervisor on the NSW register, so supervision of the work sits with me.
Who handles contracts and selections?
Eliesha Keenan handles contract administration, and Kirsty Moore works with owners on selections and admin. Craig Nixon looks after office admin and accounts. Having those roles named means an owner knows who to ask about paperwork, choices or payments, instead of routing everything through one person.
Why does it matter who is on a builder’s team?
It matters because the people you deal with every week shape the experience of building more than the brochure does. I would encourage any owner, whoever they build with, to ask for names and roles before signing. I set out the other questions I would ask in how I’d judge a builder.
